A contemporary Gallery operating here in the centre of Newcastle is run by the members at Inspired Support. Are you an artist looking to share your work with new, wider audiences here in the northeast of England? We’re inviting artists who have a series of work, to put together for a proposal for solo shows or small group shows.

Who:

We are inviting artists who are neuro-diverse to apply to exhibit with us whether they have Autism, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, etc.

Please do apply to Neuro, as we could be a home for your ideas.

We're keen to work with all artists who are at any stage of their artistic careers on this opportunity.

Artists can be of any age or educational background; we wouldn't expect you to have had a mainstream platform for your work before.

But we do require you to have an understanding of the arts.

Details:

Neuro is committed to sharing the work of creatives who use their practice to address issues of different cultures, representation, identity, human rights, social issues and health and wellbeing.

We are also keen to represent marginalisation, misrepresentation and/or inequality.

We first hold art up on its own merits, quality, and craft, but also its dialect ability will lead to a successful application, so high-quality photos that display your idea will mean as much to us as your statement.

We select content based on relevance and quality, and we’re keen to share the work of individuals with lived experience of all different backgrounds.

The successful applicant’s work will be featured in 3-week shows in our gallery space, and we will have a heavy build-up towards the show.

We are happy to give feedback, but it will be upon request.

Our clients at Inspired operate and maintain the gallery, both in digital and physical formats.
