Open Call For All Artist: Daydream
Deadline: 10/02/2025City: London | Region: London | Country: United Kingdom | Ivy Chen
We sincerely invite artists to participate in this group exhibition exploring reconstruction and multifaceted imagination; the exhibition will be taken part at the centre of Camden Town, London.
ABOUT THE THEME: DAYDREAM
Daydream is often dismissed as unrealistic fantasies. However, inspired by Carl Jung's concept of "active imagination," this exhibition views daydreaming as a tool for engaging with the subconscious and achieving “individuation”.
In this context, daydream is a secret escape in wakefulness, existing in the liminal space between reality and fantasy. They reflect desires, piece together memories, and serve as a creative framework for a wandering consciousness.
Through the interpretations of the participating artists, this exhibition seeks to reconstruct our understanding of the real world and create a field for multifaceted imagination.
There will be no restrictions on the form of the artworks and we are looking forward to your submissions.
