Fox Yard Studio is thrilled to announce its upcoming exhibition, "MYSTICAL", during the Halloween Season. The theme is open to interpretation. We look forward to receiving your submissions and curating a diverse and captivating exhibition. This art exhibition will invite our visitors to explore the layers of meaning of the selected works while delving into the supernatural, magical or even the occult. We are looking for artworks of any kind, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, video, textile, digital work and live performance.

The exhibition will run from 25th October to 5th November 2024.

Private view:

Friday 25th of October, from 6-8pm.

A contemporary art gallery based in Stowmarket, Fox Yard Studio hosts a changing programme of exhibitions, events and educational projects.

Our mission as a physical venue and organisation is to provide a safe space for all to pursue and enjoy creative visual arts.

We show ambitious, diverse works by established and emerging artists across all disciplines from the UK and abroad.

Application submission deadline for the upcoming show "Mystical": Midnight 13th of October 2024

Announcement: By October 14th, notification by email
Exhibition dates: 25th October - 5th November

Please ensure you have read through the submission's guidelines and rules properly before submitting your work.

Size

Wall work must not exceed 60cm x 80cm (to include any mount/frame). 

3D work should have a maximum footprint of 60cm x 60cm x 100cm.

Images

• You can submit up to 10 images, max 4MB each, for consideration.
• You can also send us links to your videos and performances.

Successful artists are welcome to send their work by post. If artists cannot collect unsold works after the show has ended, we can return your works to you by post or courier.

Acceptance into the exhibition:

• Successful applicants will be notified by email.
• Artists are responsible for delivering or shipping their works to us by using reliable couriers to ensure timely delivery. 
• Digital and video works will be displayed digitally on a 46" monitor in our art gallery at Fox Yard Studio. Files of selected works can be sent to us by email or WeTransfer.

Costs:

• £30 per selected work.
• As well as having a physical presence, artworks will be featured online.

Who:

Artists at all levels. All media types are welcome.

Applicants are not required to be local.  All works are to be presentable, framed (if applicable) and delivered under the responsibility of each selected artist by the given deadlines.

• There is a 25% commission on Sales for physical works.

Fox Yard Studio provides a unique and inspiring space for artists to showcase their work. Located in a historic building dating back to the 16th century, we are committed to fostering a vibrant arts community, and we aim to develop opportunities for creative professionals and to mutually support independent practice.

We form part of the Design Quarter of Stowmarket, which includes the Modece Architects, the arts bar  Pallet and the artist studios The Artspace. These creative spaces are all integral components of the Old Fox Yard and the social life of Stowmarket.
