Take part in Richmond's largest open exhibition! The Station is a vibrant creative space; a cinema, a café, a gallery, and a place to shop, in Richmond, North Yorkshire, gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.

The Station is a community hub where people can get together and create memories; a place where film, food and art are enjoyed in the unique setting of Richmond’s lovingly re-imagined station buildings. A place to catch up over coffee; see an exhibition; watch a film; try new things; shop for local produce and gifts; or share a meal with family and friends.

Every year The Station gathers together a fantastic range of talented artists and photographers and craftspeople for our annual exhibition A Spot on the Wall. Whether the artist is a first-time exhibitor, or they have been exhibited for years, as a profession or hobby, their work sits side by side on the walls of the beautiful old railway building.

Artists pay for a 'spot', where they display their work alongside an array of other artists. As a piece of art is sold from the artist's spot, they replace it with another piece, and so the exhibition is constantly changing. All artwork in the exhibition can be purchased from The Station Shop.

The exhibition will run this year from Thursday 7th December - Wednesday 17th January, giving you a full 6 weeks for you to showcase your work to thousands of visitors over the busy Christmas and New Year period.  As always, it will be a wonderful collaboration of artists from across the spectrum of amateur to professional.  There is no application process - while spaces last you are invited to book your 'spot' and secure your part in this special exhibition.

For hanging work, each artist is able to book up to 3 spaces.  One cabinet may be hired per artist - we have very limited availability and they will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.

Please submit the form and we will contact you to proceed with your booking.

Costs

£85 per spot (up to 3 spots per artist), £150 per cabinet (one per artist), unlimited replacements for sold pieces included in price. 10% commission taken on sales.
