Deadline: 21/06/2020Venue: Patio Project | City: London | Region: London | Country: United Kingdom | Georgia Stephenson
Paid opportunity
Are you an artist graduating in 2020? Has your degree show been cancelled or postponed? Independent curator Georgia Stephenson is seeking your sculpture proposals for a programme of summer sculpture on her Patio in South East London. Selected artists will receive £200 for the production of their work.
Patio Project sees independent curator Georgia Stephenson bring to life degree show sculpture proposals that haven’t been able to be realised due to Covid lockdown.
Working with 2020 graduating artists, she will programme a series of sculptural works from graduate students from across the UK, to be displayed at her home in South East London.
Selected artists will receive £200 each to help realise their piece which will be installed for a fortnight at the curator’s home on bespoke “patio plinth”.
Available to view at a social distance, with slots bookable via appointment, visitors will be able to experience the works of art students who were unable to showcase their degree show pieces otherwise.
All necessary Covid H&S regulations will be adhered to in line with government guidance; including 2m distancing and hand sanitiser available on site.
