We are thrilled to announce an open call for submissions from artists and writers for an upcoming exhibition and publication centered on the theme of "Art and Science Collaborations."

This open call aims to explore the dynamic intersection of art and science, showcasing how these fields can inspire and enhance each other. We invite creatives from all disciplines to contribute works that reflect this innovative synergy.

Theme: Art and Science Collaborations

Art and science have long been regarded as distinct realms of human endeavour, yet both seek to understand and represent the world around us. From Leonardo da Vinci’s anatomical sketches that bridged the gap between art and medicine to contemporary artists using data visualization to explore climate change, the collaboration between art and science has yielded profound insights and innovative creations. This project seeks to continue that tradition, encouraging dialogue and collaboration. We are looking for works that:

  • Illustrate scientific concepts through artistic expression
  • Utilize scientific methods or data in the creation of art
  • Explore the aesthetic dimensions of scientific discovery
  • Reflect on the historical relationship between art and science
  • Imagine future possibilities at the intersection of these fields
