Collect Art is currently seeking artists working in various mediums, including painting, drawing, mixed media, collage, photography, printmaking, and textiles, for an upcoming online exhibition and publication centered around the theme of 'Ruby Red.'

The opportunity is open to artists of all nationalities who are 18 years old and above.

The symbolism of the ruby has varied across different times and cultures throughout history:

Love and Passion | Protection | Vitality and Courage | Prosperity and Wealth | Devotion and Commitment | Fire and Power | Royalty and Nobility | Spiritual Enlightenment | Blood and Life | Healing and Well-Being.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the concept freely. The theme revolves around the Ruby Red color and its symbolism, allowing for artworks to be created in various colors while maintaining a connection to the symbolic significance of Ruby Red.

Selected artists will have the privilege of being showcased in a month-long online exhibition and will receive a 2-6 page spread in both print and digital magazines. This feature will encompass a biography, artist statement, interview, website link, and 2-10 featured artworks. All published artists will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine, which will be actively promoted on our website and social media platforms. Additionally, artists will be provided with a link to order the printed version of the magazine.

The curatorial team will select a few exceptional artists and writers for inclusion in their upcoming book edition titled '101 Contemporary Artists and More...'

The deadline for submissions is December 26, 2023, and there is no application fee. However, selected artists will be required to pay a participation fee of 55 EUR upon acceptance.
