Left Bank Leeds is a multidisciplinary arts venue set in a Grade II* listed former church building on Cardigan Rd, Leeds. Our mission is to preserve our amazing venue in order to inspire and empower our community via a sustainable programme of arts and events that promote creativity, connection and wellbeing.

We are looking for 4 artists or collectives to make site specific work in response to our amazing space. Those selected will be expected to simultaneously use the space April 4-13 and exhibit their resulting work 14-16 April, and pack down on 17 April. £1,500 will be paid as an artist fee and contribution towards materials (£1000 will be paid upfront and the final £500 will be paid upon pack down).

Accommodation, food and travel are not included in this residency. Successful applicants will be expected to make their own arrangements and be able to attend Left Bank Leeds each day of the residency, including attending the open evening 6-9pm on Thursday 14th and pack away on Sunday 17th April.

This residency forms part of a larger project that has been supported by Arts Council England, Leeds City Council and Left Bank Leeds.
