The 2025 Exhibition programme is about the by-products of our society; these by-products create huge statistics that are destroying the environment that we are living in. Do you highlight these issues within your art and use a by-product to produce your artworks?

The dialogue around our Buy The Kilo shop and gallery is environmental issues. Whether it is climate change, pollution, industry, health, food customers engage their thoughts while shopping.

In our Gallery we exhibit a visual presence to inspire more conversations.

As a plastic activist through my art and the shop, I am very passionate about the subject and try and get as much information out through conversation to encourage our audience to engage and partake.

Since launching in 2019, we have had over 50 exhibitions with artists sending their work to the Gallery from all over the world.

It can be photography, painting, sculpture, written word, or textiles. Sadly, we have no facilities for video, audio or light submissions.

The chosen Artists will exhibit for a month, with the opportunity to sell, paying 30% commission to the shop.

The artist is responsible for getting their work to the shop when it is their time to exhibit. They can post it and I will hang as instructed or deliver in person.

The artwork should be no bigger than 120cm square; you can fit two pieces of work or several smaller pieces into that space. Artists must have their own public liability/artist insurance.
