The winner will be awarded a £1000 cash prize and shortlisted artists will be permanently featured in our online gallery.

The New Emergence Art Prize 2024 offers a £1000 cash prize for the winner and a permanent feature in our online gallery for shortlisted artists.

This is our sixth edition of the art prize, founded to champion and showcase living emerging artists from all backgrounds worldwide.

There is no set theme; we are excited to showcase the diverse range of contemporary art being created around the world today.

We accept applications from all international artists aged 18 or over working in any medium.

The judges for The New Emergence Art Prize 2024 are Habib Hajallie RBA (Founder of New Emergence Art), Alex Zawadzki (Founder & Director of The Second Act Gallery) and Phoebe Boddy (Contemporary Artist).

Application fees are £15 for 1 work, £25 for 2 and £30 for 3.

Deadline for submissions: 24 October 2024

Shortlist announcement: 31 October 2024

Winner announced: 7 November 2024

Submission fees

The following submission fees apply to this opportunity.

  • 1 entry - 15.00 GBP
  • 2 entries - 25.00 GBP
  • 3 entries - 30.00 GBP

The appropriate fee will be payable using a debit or credit card after the first submission has been completed. If the submission fee allows you to submit more than once, you will be able to make further submissions after the first.
