Vision and Mission
Wembley Park is transforming into a vibrant, inclusive neighbourhood that seamlessly blends culture, community, and entertainment. Our mission is to foster an environment where creativity thrives, offering artists unique opportunities to contribute to a dynamic urban landscape.
A New Neighbourhood
Located in Brent, North West London, Wembley Park has unfergone significant regeneration, evolving into a lively mixed-use community. Visitors are drawn to our free events, as well as the iconic Wembley Stadium and OVO Arena Wembley, shops and restaurants, Boxpark Wembley, theatres, open spaces and a lot more.
Cultural and Public Art Strategy
Wembley Park’s Cultural Strategy and Public Art Strategy outline our commitment to integrating art and culture into the fabric of our neighbourhood. Developed in collaboration with Futurecity, these strategies provide a framework for artistic programming, placemaking, and community engagement. Both documents are available for review upon request.
Artistic Opportunities
We are proud to be home to 26 artist studios, with an additional 30 studios set to open near in 2025, bringing the total to 56. These studios are operated by Second Floor Studios & Arts, providing affordable, high-quality workspaces for emerging and established artists. This expansion reflects our commitment to supporting local artists and enriching the cultural fabric of Wembley Park.
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
In Summer 2025, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will relocate to Wembley Park, further establishing our neighbourhood as a cultural epicentre. This move will provide residents and visitors with unparalleled access to world-class musical performances.
Union Park
We are developing a 7-acre park, which, upon completion, will be the largest park created in North West London in over 120 years. Union Park will offer green spaces for relaxation, recreation, and community events, enhancing the quality of life for all who visit.
Cultural Landmarks
Wembley Park is home to the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, a state-of-the-art cultural destination seating up to 2,000 guests. The theatre hosts a variety of performances, including the renowned Starlight Express, providing diverse entertainment options for our community.
Boxpark Wembley, located on iconic Olympic Way, offers a selection of modern street food vendors and social spaces, with a 365-day event programme that enhances the cultural and culinary experiences available in Wembley Park.
Wembley Park Art Trail
Central to our cultural offering is the Wembley Park Art Trail—a free, public art initiative showcasing a diverse range of artworks by local and international artists. The trail features larger-than-life murals, digital installations and interactive pieces, transforming everyday spaces into artistic canvases.
In 2024, Wembley Park launched an app-based guide to its Art Trail, hosted within CityTrotter: London Walks. This digital solution encourages visitors to explore Wembley Park’s outdoor gallery of 23 public artworks, using GPS technology to provide seamless navigation. The app enhances the experience by offering in-depth insights into each piece, ensuring a more interactive and educational exploration.
