I am a community based artist who's artistic interests derive around nature and the human relationship. Reflections and altered perceptions are of particular interest to me, as the way we see things affects the choices we make in life. I use natural materials in my work and recycle discarded items to evoke a fresh perspective and viewpoint.

I enjoy exploring spiritual and philosophical concepts around my artistic interests, with the aim to provoke the viewer to connect with the subject or medium differently, or stir an energy within themselves that they recognise.

My work varies in mediums, but is an ongoing exploration of how we have become so detached (in the modern world) both spiritually and psychologically from our natural, energetic source.

My work previously was mainly drawing, and semi-3D work, but at the time I didn't pursue my art as a career. In the last year, I have been developing my work around the concepts I descibed above, as previously this was done more via poetry. I would like to get to the stage where I combine both.

Reflections and perception are both themes I would like to develop in much more depth through my art.
