    In 2016 I made a commitment to focus on my own practice and fulfill a career long ambition to specialise in ceramics. I completed an MA in Ceramics: Design at Manchester School of Art last year.     The paintings are an expression of experiencing the natural environments. They are a playful celebration of colour, shapes and a sensory response to the exuberance found in plant life.     I am a visual artist working in painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media. My main interests are in urban culture, architecture, poetry and travel experiences. I was born and brought up in Moldova but moved to UK in 1995. I teach art and photography. Education: Degree in ceramics at Moldovan Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts and MA in Art and Design at Leeds Metropolitan University.

    I specialise in watercolour and acrylic paintings and have been painting as long as I can remember. It's my love and passion. I love to celebrate the beauty in the natural world around us! I find myself drawn to the sea and so many of my paintings focus on the ocean, and also the moon which controls our powerful seas.

    I'm an artist based in Annan, a small coastal town in the south west of Scotland. I work on a wide variety of themes using pencil, charcoal, oils, digital and soft chalk pastels. I have a particular interest in classical drawing and the methods used in atelier schools. I'm also interesting in community arts and encouraging others to draw.
