Father, husband, artist teacher. I love learning and my practice is simply that - I enjoy the craft of making - be it 2 or 3 dimensional, and I simply couldn’t teach if I wasn’t creating.
I have taught Art at secondary level for the past 28 years and a lot of my inspiration comes from planning briefs for my dynamic students. Slightly political, I like to comment on current affairs and the beauty I find in nature and have been making for at least the past 50 years. I love to put an unexpected twist on situations and try and get my pupils to think outside of the box, and hopefully this is reflected in my own practice.
