    I was born in South Africa and moved to London in 1986. I started sculpting at the Hampstead Institute in early 2000 and started painting again in 2019. I paint predominantly in oil on canvas and like to produce colourful abstract compositions mostly generated from Photographs that I have taken or real life. I also generate digital images using procreate printing using Chromaluxe onto Aluminium.

    I am an artist and musician based in Birmingham with interests in pattern, organisation, liminality and varying modes of perception and control. My practice was almost exclusively focused on abstract drawing until 2017, when I began seeking new ways to engage with and develop these concepts.

    I run a multidisciplinary practice working in textiles, drawing and painting. My artist lead work is inspired by natural form; intuitively driven and grown over long hours in the studio, it aims to capture the sensuality, tenacity and evolution of natural plant forms.
