Call for artists for the 12th Community Art Exhibition. Don’t miss this chance to showcase your creativity!

We invite you to apply for the 12th Community Art Exhibition.

We welcome all mediums, including but not limited to paintings, photography, installations, sculptures, illustrations, drawings, digital art, ceramics, and more.

We can accommodate up to 30 artists. There are 26 spaces for hanging pieces, each measuring 120cm large and 160cm tall.
For sculptures and ceramics, we have 6 plinths measuring 90cm x 40cm.

HOW TO APPLY
:

Please fill out the application form with Curatorspace.

It is possible to display originals only. Prints are not accepted. All the 2D artworks must be framed and corded.

Submission is free.

A fee of £35 is required only if your application is successful, with a reduced fee of £25 for ceramics and sculptures.

We will reply with the payment information details.

After the payment has been approved, we will consider your application valid. We do not take any commission on sales.

The application deadline is on the 1st of December (23:59 GMT).

Set-up days are the 30th and 31st of January.

The exhibition will open on Friday, 31st January, with a “Meet the Artists” event from 5 pm to 6 pm and will close on Sunday, 23rd February.

ABOUT US
:

We are an independent, inclusive, not-for-profit organisation.

We proudly opened our art gallery by converting a used double-decker bus.

It is now the first permanent art gallery in East Bristol.

The gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday, 11 am-4 pm.

We are located in the yard behind 780 Fishponds Road, BS16 3TT, Bristol.

When is the delivery date?
30th and 31st of January, 11 am - 4 pm.
When do I need to collect my work?
23rd February, 11 am - 4 pm.
How much does it cost?
£35 for a panel 120x160cm.
£25 for a plinth 90x40cm.
Is there a private view / opening?
Friday 31st January, 5 pm - 6 pm.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
Wednesday to Sunday, 11 am-4 pm.
What publicity will be provided as part of the opportunity?
The event will be promoted on the Curatorspace platform, VASW platform, Bristol Creatives platform, Visit Bristol touristic portal, newsletter, social media, website.
Do I need to be present?
We will be glad if you can join us at the "Meet the Artists" event on the 31st of January.
What happens if my proposal is chosen?
Once selected we will send you a confirmation email with the details for the payment and the instructions for the consignment.
What are the selection criteria?
We are as open as possible to offer any artists the opportunity to show their creativity.
