We are inviting applications for expressions of interest and responses from multi-disciplines within the subject of Death and Passing. The exhibition will be held over two days at the beautiful, award-winning Natural Endings, Funeral Directors in Todmorden, West Yorkshire and will be in association with Pushing Up Daisies. The opening will be Friday, 10th October and will end on Sunday, 12th October 2025.

We will be looking at submissions with the aim to foster a sensitive and thoughtful dialogue between artist and community, a subject where there is still much taboo. The exhibition will offer a space for reflection and connection and will be open to all members of the public, including those who are bereaved.

Deadline for submissions is 28th May. There will be no submission fee for this process.

We will not be able to accept any submissions after this date. We welcome submissions from artists of all backgrounds and working in a diverse range of mediums.

We encourage both emerging and established artists to apply, offering a platform to present works that challenge perception and expand the boundaries of artistic expression.

When submitting, please send us a proposal/brief description of 100 - 200 words of the work you intend to create and send us images of previous work that reflects the work you will be submitting.

This includes high-quality images or video links if applicable, your website/social media handle, artwork dimensions (roughly if not possible), medium and title.

If you have recently created work that lies within the brief but has not yet been exhibited or implemented for commercial usage, we will also consider this work.

Artists must ensure their works do not infringe on any intellectual property rights. Work that is AI generated/copyrighted will not be accepted.

The cost for taking part will be £40 per artist.  We will not charge commission on sales.

The fee covers expenses for the space, publicity and our exhibition launch. When you have been accepted, we will send you details such as delivery instructions and payment details.

It is not necessary for you to be at the exhibition as the exhibition will be invigilated. However, we do encourage your presence, especially with the aim to foster conversation and make sales if you are selling your work.

This is also an opportunity to accept any paid commissions

Shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the artist.
