The Mill Gallery invites artists to submit work for our Summer Exhibition 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your work in a dynamic group exhibition celebrating contemporary art across various disciplines.

We welcome submissions in painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, and printmaking.

Our goal is to create an engaging and diverse exhibition that offers a platform for both emerging and established artists.

Submission Details:

  • Entry fee: £25 (for up to 5 artworks)

  • Selected artworks will be curated by The Mill Gallery team

  • All works must be for sale, with prices set by the artist

  • Exhibition dates: 20th June - 25th July 2025

  • If selected, all artwork deliveries must be arranged with the gallery via appointment

Submission fees

The following submission fees apply to this opportunity.

  • Submission Fee - 25.00 GBP

The appropriate fee will be payable using a debit or credit card after the first submission has been completed. If the submission fee allows you to submit more than once, you will be able to make further submissions after the first. Who is eligible for this opportunity?
Artists must be 18+ and based in the UK (students are welcome to apply).
When is the deadline?
Deadline for this Open Call is 11:59 pm BST on May 27th, 2025.
How many works can I submit?
Artists can submit up to 5 artworks.
When is the delivery date?
Wednesday 11th June.
When do I need to collect my work?
Wednesday 30th July.
How much does it cost?
Entry fee: £25 (for up to 5 artworks).
Is there a private view / opening?
Friday 20th June.
What are the exhibition opening hours?
Fridays (1 pm - 6 pm).
Does the location have disabled access?
The main exhibition space is located upstairs, accessible via a set of stairs.
Staircase Features: The stairs are equipped with handrails on both sides, and the steps have non-slip surfaces to ensure safety.
Unfortunately, at this time, there is no lift or wheelchair lift available to access the upper level. We understand that this may be an inconvenience and encourage you to contact us in advance so we can provide alternative viewing options.
Do I need to be present?
No, artists do not need to invigilate the exhibition, but they are always welcome to spend time within it.
