    I am an artist painting on glass and paper to create 2d and 3d works. My work is strongly narrative and explores the interaction of people and landscape aided by birds. My starting point was as a painter using watercolours and mixed media, around 2000 I began to study stained glass and I have continued to develop approaches to painting and sculpting with stained glass and paper.

    Freya Magenta is a Lancashire based Fine Artist. For the past few years she has been refining her practice specialising in acrylic painting. Her work can be described as vibrant and vivid which is a sharp contrast to her macabre imagery. Magenta’s work is heavily influenced by the 17th Century Vanitas movement, however there are some modern influences to her work with the likes of Andy Warhol.

    About me I am a Glasgow based artist working in a range of paint based mediums. My work is a representation of my interactions with, and reflections on, my immediate environment. Through my work I explore and share my reactions to the boundaries between the natural environment and human imposed structures.     I am a north-east England multi media artist who searches for symmetry, form and patterns in my surroundings. I take great pleasure in capturing how I see beauty in the mundane, largely through black and white photography. My creative practice is constantly evolving with the images I take, informing and steering my current work into a new found direction of wire sculpture and installation art.
