    My practice is muti-disciplinary but a unifying starting point for most of my work is print or collage. I am an artist and educator interested in the social applications of art. I like to create work that is playful and invites interaction in some way. Ritual, play, wonder, performance, perceptions of reality and imagined narratives are all important themes within my practice.

When making work she thinks about how changing the context of space can relocate it into a new spectrum of reference. Her work is deeply embedded in the appropriation of images and material. Ford works with textiles to explore the complexities and pleasures of queer communities, histories and archives. Born, 1959 she was brought up with the teachings of the Indian Philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti (1896-1986.) Ross completed a BA Hons painting, a master's degree in fine art, Chelsea college of Art, a Ceramics diploma at City Lit.
