    I am an interdisciplinary contemporary artist from the South Coast, and recent Fine Art graduate, living and working in London. My practice is primarily involved with site-responsive, practice-based research projects, exploring sacred encounters in the natural world and creative practice as a navigational device, through interrelations between themes of ecology, place, mythology and mysticism.

    I'm an artist and writer who specialises in photographic engagement with the natural world, particularly the cultural history of plants. My practice-based PhD from the University of Brighton, conducted research on how creative encounters with the concept of plant intelligence can help narrow the nature-culture divide by making-with the plant not just as subject, but also as object.

    Chloe Monks is a contemporary ceramic artist living and working in Bristol who studied Ceramics at Cardiff School of Art and Design before completing an MA in Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art in 2020.     Janes practice combines drawing, printmaking and embroidery. She works from her studio in Stockport, and exhibits regularly both nationally and internationally. Jane studied embroidered textiles at Goldsmiths college followed by postgraduate study at Manchester Polytechnic. Having lectured for 30 years at Manchester School of Art , Jane changed career in 2020 to become a full time artist.
