    Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage.     Distinguished musician turned artist Pamela Thorby aims to create ‘visual music’ in clay. Currently making high fired porcelain sculptural vessels, imagined but reminiscent of a multiplicity of organic forms. Connecting head, heart and hands, the medium of ceramics presents Pamela with related opportunities to explore concepts of perception, time and ‘the stuff of which we are made’.

    With a passion for the outdoors and the natural world, my artwork is heavily based in nature. I use collage as a way to explore my ideas and I am also interested in using sculpture in the near future to create outcomes and responses to research that I do.

    I returned to college age 24 & completed a Degree in 'Combined Studies in Crafts' at Crewe and Alsager college. After graduating I started making wooden boxes, cabinets clocks etc. Then I designed large scale public art projects, taught workshops & residencies. I now concentrate on botanical & tree prints created with multiple layers. I also have a range of plaster cast flower plaques.

    Angela and Nicky of Landlines Studio work in collaboration, gathering raw materials such as rocks, soil, clay and botanical matter which they hand process into fine pigments, natural dyes and paint. Harnessing these earth colours, they create site specific, abstract work on paper, canvas and silk.

    I am a leather jewellery maker based in South Yorkshire. I use re cycled leather and experiment with paint, heat and metal leafing to form unique pieces of jewellery . I am a self taught Artist and maker and I absolutely love what I do. I am always keen to explore new ideas and collaborate with people upon interesting projects.
