    I exhibit in United Kingdom and Brazil. My work aims to find a connectivity to our deep past, in an attempt to unravel our human reluctance to take responsibility for our underlining destructive nature. Through the use of every day single use, disposable plastic products to create installations, performances, sculptures, photographic and mark making works.

    I am an artist with a practice combining studio arts and microactivism. My work investigates how people maintain their notions-of-self through visual cues.     Originally a teacher of dyslexic children, I have recently completed an MA in Fashion Textile Practices at Huddersfield University. I have always been a creative and in 2017 finally took the plunge and did an Art & Design Foundation Diploma which started a love of light and installations.

    Julie lives in the beautiful historic village of Bonsall on the edge of the peak district and works with mixed media incorporating paint, collage and textiles. Working in sketch books influences her work, nature, birds, flowers, iconic images and interior scenes all feature in her work.     I am an artist/maker based in a small village on the West coast of Wales. I have been practicing for over 30 years. I work from a small studio at the back of my house. My surroundings are a constant source of inspiration to me; the colours of the expansive skies, the flocks of corvidae wheeling around and the flowers in the hedgerows. I work mostly with textiles.

    I am interested in exploring photography as ‘Inframedium’, playing with the boundaries of the photographic object, its material ‘nature’ and the visual possibilities that exist within it. Stripping away the ‘Apparatus’ of the camera and thus stepping out of the arena of the technical image, I am exploring a different set of gestures with which to reveal the material’s phenomenological potential.
