    Matt Hooper is a self-taught professional linocut printmaker, working from his studio in Leeds. He makes linocut prints following both the traditional Japanese Woodblock style and more contemporary linocut methods, a reflection of his passions for both subjects. After 30 years in a Leeds print factory, Matt left with the goal of making every piece of paper into something beautiful.

    Josh is a kiln-formed glass artist based in North Yorkshire who specialises in vitrigraph murrine — a traditional Italian technique reinterpreted through contemporary processes.     Originally from North Yorkshire, I gained a degree in Fine Art Printmaking at Sheffield Hallam in 1983 and made Sheffield my home. My career as an artist and educator spans over thirty years and I have worked in as a solo practitioner and collaboratively in film, photography, performance/spoken word, text, installation, 3D.

    Born in Liverpool, UK. Studied Fine Art in Liverpool and Coventry, and worked as a community artist. Returned to full-time education for MA at Winchester School of Art, and then awarded a bursary for a PhD at Nottingham Trent University. He has exhibited widely, and worked in various roles in museums and galleries, including Tate Liverpool. He currently lives and works in London and Taipei.

In 2025, he won the Collectors' Art Prize - Legends of Our Time Award. In 2020, he won best in show for the International Art Folio 2020 Annual award.     Neurodivergent visual artist exploring embodied experience through drawing, painting and mixed media. My work draws on my background as a former elite gymnast and responds to movement, sensation and mental imagery emerging through EMDR therapy. Projects include ‘ProPriOception’ (Arts Council England - DYCP) and ‘Exploring Embodied Experience’, supported by a CuratorSpace Artist Bursary.
