    Rhiannon Kendall is a Contemporary Artist and Poet, Prison Teacher and Freelance Art Workshop Facilitator who lives and works in York, North Yorkshire, UK (b. 1996). Drawing, Painting, Poetry and Spoken word are all central to the Artist's practice. Rhiannon's work is often inspired by her experiences of being a queer woman from a working class council estate and mining village background.

    My ceramic practice explores the poetics of stillness at the threshold between vessel and sculpture. I use local stoneware, contrasting structural precision with unique matte glazes that highlight the clay's raw character. My work emphasizes the physical history of its creation. Stocked at Kettle's Yard museum shop and other galleries, I have also held a solo exhibition at Churchill College.

    Alan Pergusey is a visual artist. He is a painter, mosaic artist, street performer and curator. He is co-director of Leeds Sculpture Workshop, a studio group for artists and creatives and regularly curates exhibitions in his own Gallery 16.

    Currently, I am primarily interested in exploring human/nature discourses through a narrative practice that engages with objects (natural and human-made), representation, and employing a range of processes and means of making.     I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.

    I am a multi-disciplinary artist, with 15 years of experience of socially engaged art / social practices projects. My work is informed by my Ph.D. thesis, activism and personal experience as a mix race person and migrant. Much of my work concentrates on themes of place and belonging, identify and social justice using photography, digital art and installations.

    I am an author I studied for an MA in art and a BA graduated in both, and then went on to study psychology. I have done various psychotherapy courses and classes. I am now more into doing the thing I love most painting. I am from Cyprus my family were refugees in Cyprus. I have lived in England for over sixty years. I did a lot of work in catering.
