    I make detailed paintings, drawings and installations depicting marginal areas. I use traditional methods and materials in a unique way, building my work up in a layered practice that refers to both etching and primitive photography. I am based in London. I m a former recipient of the Jerwood Drawing Prize and was shortlisted for the John Moores Prize in 2014, winning the Visitors Choice.

    I am a Brighton based artist who explores the weird and the wonky through watercolour, pencil drawings and mixed media ornamental art boxes. I received my degree in Cultural and Historical Studies from the University of Brighton and have exhibited at Newhaven Art Space, Pretty Neat Gallery, and Artist's Open Houses and my work will soon be shown at Animalartspace in the Drawing Exhibition.

    I am a photographer from a Fine Art background with a career spanning 4 decades producing work for Advertising Agencies and Designers. Throughout that time I have been fortunate enough to balance any commissioned work with my own personal practice, which ranges from Landscape and Industrial to Still life.     I am a photographer and a qualified teacher. I tutor workshops in basic digital photography and cyanotype printing. My main practice is in documentary photography. I also have a passion for Camera Obscura and have designed and built my own portable CO. Inspired by largescale artworks I also have a passion for light paintings and abstractions made at night.

    Originally from Moldova (formerly part of the USSR), I have called Harrogate home for the past 28 years. Since 1995, I've resided in the UK. Currently, I share my passion for art and photography as an educator at Harrogate Grammar School while continuing to refine my skills as a painter.     My main area of work is traditional printmaking and I have been exhibited in 5 out of the 6 Royal Academies of Arts in the UK and Ireland. I also work in the area of drawing, watercolour, and photography. Many of my works are based on a science fiction setting of my own with occult, retro, and archaic elements, but I also work based on real life.
