    Recent graduate of a first class degree in BA (Hons) Fine Art at the Northern School of Art. I enjoy the process of investigating landscape via graphite, paint, photography and collage.     My practice is muti-disciplinary but a unifying starting point for most of my work is print or collage. I am an artist and educator interested in the social applications of art. Ritual, play, wonder, performance, perceptions of reality and imagined narratives are all important themes within my practice.

    Sue is a contemporary yorkshire based artist gaining a Diploma in Fine Art, Jacob Kramer, 1993. BA Honours Degree in Art and Design at Bradford College In 1997. Exhibitions since; most notables The Royal Academy Summer Show 2024, Royal Cambrian 2023. Primarily Sue uses oil paint, to draw out intangible moments from specific memories. Layers of impasto being a striking feature of her work.

    As mixed media artist, I have worked as a textile artist since I took early retirement 14 years ago. Recently, I have also restarted water colour painting and my work now includes a mixture of paint, fabrics, stitch, hand weaving and embellishments. I have taken many courses on textile art techniques, printing, eco dyeing, paper making. etc.
