I am a multi-media artist based in Yorkshire working in sculpture, performance, photography, video, printmaking and artist’s books. Much of my work is inspired by and takes place in, the landscape around me. Often I am the only audience for my on-site installations, works translated into artist’s books and digitally printed images, crossing the boundary between documentary and primary artwork.

My practice explores landscape as a contemporary and evolving discipline, rooted in the traditions of academic art yet driven by personal experience and emotional investigation. I approach the landscape not simply as a subject to be represented, but as a living space of memory, movement, and transformation

Exploring psychological and cultural permutations of space guide the focus of Peel's practice. When making work she thinks about how changing the context of space can relocate it into a new spectrum of reference. Her work is deeply embedded in the appropriation of images and material. She see's this as a kind of recycling of possible meaning that touches on both the personal and the cultural

I have been doing abstract art since the beginning of 2023, as a recovering alcoholic (sober for over 10 years now) I use my art as a way of expressing my innermost feelings without having to speak a single word about them. I see my paintings as a screenshot of my soul at that particular moment in time.
