    My name is Gemma Yates and I'm a painter from the UK. I love to paint natural forms such as flowers, trees, figures and thriving landscapes.     I am an artist and founder of Oriel Cardi Bach, an independent contemporary gallery in Cardigan, West Wales.     Since my training at Edinburgh College of Art I have been inspired by nature. My mission explores the emotional symbolism of my subject matter and seeks to distil the image to enhance this. Although not formally trained in the Fine Arts, she uses her knowledge of print and colour to create her own unique style.
