Report this?I work with dried flora (flowers, grasses, leaves, twigs, berries and more) weaving, stitching and sticking on tulle fabric within wooden frames to create three-dimensional pieces. I take my inspiration (and my materials) from the natural world around me - what I see from my window, in my garden, on dog walks and beyond. You can see examples of my work at www.driedflowerart.co.uk.

Report this?My practice reimagines post-apocalyptic futures and social ecologies through a queer and disabled lens. Through sculpture, I explore how natural life cycles are disrupted and altered to develop a landscape of regrowth and hope.

Report this?My work explores mental health, struggles, healing and the ongoing journey of growth, both personal and collective. Nature is a constant muse in my art, where I explore the intersection of humanity and botanical beauty. Through expressive portraits, vivid abstract paintings, and unique characters, I aim to transform inner emotion into something visible, relatable, and deeply human.

Report this?Currently, I am primarily interested in exploring human/nature discourses through a narrative practice that engages with objects (natural and human-made), representation, and employing a range of processes and means of making. However, I am keen to explore creative synergy with others, whether they have similar or contrasting perspectives, skills and experiences.

Report this?My practice centres on ceramics. Clay is mineral, elemental and millions of years old. A humbling material - it has a memory, just like us. I am inspired by the chaos of oxides, the magic of a kiln opening and leaning into the unknown.

Report this?I am a teacher of Geography and until a few years ago I never thought I had a creative bone in my body. I then discovered wood turning and the joy of shaping wood as if it was clay. I have rapidly moved away from traditional wood turning and like to use a variety of non-traditional wood and different materials that enhance the wood. I like form and shape inspired by nature.

Report this?Having completed a degree in Fine Art I went on to complete an MA Fine Art at BCU . I revel in exploring, unpicking, and going on a journey to see where the art takes me. When I paint and draw, I really do feel the work emanates from within and emerges, bursting forth. I embrace my gestural approach, and investigate large scale using oil, oil sticks, and water soluble crayons.
