    As a studio-based painter I rely on photographic images. These are often those found on social media or then internet. As a gay man I am also interested in exploring the multiplicity of images and ideals we are presented with and redefining the idea of masculinity. My work explores narrative, colour, line, composition, and mark-making to evoke an emotion or develop the narrative within an image.

    Mark Brereton is a contemporary Graphic Artist who uses playful and satirical imagery with undertones of horror and terror.     Ross’ practice is centred around nature in an urban environment, a sense of place, utilising and repurposing found and recycled materials are key to both sustainability & minimising my artistic footprint. Examining the relationship with nature that surrounds us; time, identity, consumption and history informs these concerns, inviting us to view things in a different way.

    I am a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests, so I don't specialise in any particular genre. I do, however, love to create images that offer an unusual perspective on the every-day, which enables me to embrace macro photography, as well as documentary and street photography.

    I am a predominantly self taught artist working across a range of textile mediums with a particular focus on weaving currently. I use a range of different size handheld or tabletop looms, mainly working with natural & recycled fibres in combination with found objects that maybe natural or manmade.

    Shona Davies and Jon Klein both studied at Sir John Cass College of Art where they graduated in 2007 with first class honours. They were also joint recipients of the Owen Rowley Prize and John Cass Purchase prize. Klein specialised in Time Based Media and Davies in Printmaking and 3-D. Dave Monaghan studied at Liverpool and Canterbury Colleges of Art where he specialised in sculpture.
