    Graduate from the Royal college of art. 7 years ago I moved from my birth place of south east London to East Sussex which has impacted my art considerably. Though from childhood I always felt happier in the countryside, I felt a juxtaposition between living in a city and infrequently visiting the countryside now I am here feeling more inspired by my surroundings.

    I work in the medium of film/video and photography. I studied photography before going on to study fine art at Leeds where I specialised in video art. As a filmmaker I've made creative films for Screen Yorkshire and North West Vision in England. My photographs have been exhibited online and in galleries, both in the UK and internationally.

    My work follows two parallel yet colliding lines, shaping and complementing each other. I compose space, and space shapes me. The serenity of one form mirrors the Dionysian force of another. I work with ordinary materials, embedding them in familiar structures that fade when left untouched. Beyond the rational and the known, does a pure, simple order exist, hidden behind the everyday haze?

    I am a Visual Artist, Researcher and Maker specialising in textiles, who has recently completed an AHRC-funded practice-based doctorate at Northumbria University. I exhibit regularly both individually and as part of a collaborative partnership and art collectives.     I make handmade jewellery in silver and 18ct gold and a wide range of precious stones, with textures and patterns drawn from close up images of beetles, their wing cases, articulated legs, antennae and focus sing on their jewel like qualities. My work also finds inspiration from landscapes where I create jewellery, prints and small paintings inspired by the landscapes of Iceland and Sweden.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism. I have a strong exhibition catalogue over 20 shows in 2025.
