    I am primarily a painter, based in the east of England. I apply the philosophy of collage to the materials of painting. Since graduating from Chelsea College of Arts M A course in 1998 I have worked with an archive of materials generated in the studio ( canvas offcuts and dried films/puddles/fragments of paint) to construct images from imagination and memory.

    Currently studying a BA (Hons) in Textiles Practice at Bradford School of Art, I am a multidisciplinary artist and see the world around me as a series of patterns. I capture and transform this vision to create imaginative and abstract interpretations combining different techniques to create contemporary art in an unusual and inventive way.

    Since retirement, I work with textiles most days. I use a lot of up cycled materials and apply paint and stitch to tell a story. I also volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind, Scotland. We foster lovely pups, giving them a cosy home as they go through their training.

    I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Manchester UK, investigating the intersection of human activity with the non-human using a pared-down aesthetic and a range of media. My practice considers the Anthropocene/Planthropocene, Deep Time and vibrant matter, searching for understanding of ecological systems, processes and phenomena in relation to the environmental crises.

    Anna is a Ukrainian artist-researcher based in the UK and working in the style of metamodernism. She was born in 1991. Having been first educated as an academic artist she has the daring and skill to experiment with traditional and contemporary approaches to representation.     Sarah McAlister graduated with MA Textiles from The University for the Creative Arts in 2024 and focuses her practice on re-using found materials. Her work is made in response to places and events she has experienced. Her ethos as a textile artist is to recycle, re-use and re-purpose existing resources meaning that her pieces are made entirely from found objects and fabrics.

    Nesta Pilkington is the working name of Suzy Maxwell MA (Falmouth 2006). A main concept of the work is a love of animals, who they are and how they touch our lives. Where we and they 'meet' is a sort of cross-species connection. It is a spiritual connection and when they inevitably die, we feel it as an unbelievably deep loss. The sculptures are an interpretation of this inter-relationship.
