Recently, I have also restarted water colour painting and my work now includes a mixture of paint, fabrics, stitch, hand weaving and embellishments. I have taken many courses on textile art techniques, printing, eco dyeing, paper making. etc.

Report this?I returned to college age 24 & completed a Degree in 'Combined Studies in Crafts' at Crewe and Alsager college. After graduating I started making wooden boxes, cabinets clocks etc. Then I designed large scale public art projects, taught workshops & residencies. I now concentrate on botanical & tree prints created with multiple layers. I also have a range of plaster cast flower plaques.

Report this?Catherine has a first class degree in Photography from the University of Westminster. Disillusioned with Photoshop and filters, she began to work with the cyanotype photogram. An historic process, using iron salts, light and water, the cyanotype is an environmentally friendly printing method. Botanical specimens are collected from local spaces, seeds are returned: each print treads lightly.
