    I am a visual artist who creates drawing and paintings that explore and express acrobatic movement and embodied experience. In 2022/23, I awarded Arts Council England funding for my project ‘ProPriOception’. I’ve exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, delivered workshops throughout the North West, and completed several Mural commissions for community projects and organisations

    As a chemical free seasonal flower grower and lover of nature I use my garden as inspiration for my art, using a variety of mediums from watercolour through to acrylic and digital. I practice continually with different styles and have created large acrylic flow paintings through to small textile pieces. Flowers are my passion but I am open to depicting any form.

    Katy works with Merino wool, using felting and embroidery to create landscape stories. Changing skies, seasons and rural scenes inspire her beautiful pictures. She is currently making wearable accessories and clothing using the same techniques. Katy has exhibited her work for some years and can be found at local artisan fairs and shops. She is a member of the International Feltmakers Association.

    I'm an artist, educator and curator. I create sculptural installations, using recycled and found materials.     I am involved in an intimate co-creative process with nature. Each piece is a story revealed through our interconnection and communion of the sacred ancient bond between the human and the natural world. My art makes a space for nature to be heard, to be felt and to be present in a way that is being called forth within each nature encounter.

    I have been painting for approximately 12 years but have only recently taken steps towards building my artwork in to more than just a hobby. This increased focus has seen an evolution in my work, moving towards stronger, bolder and more colourful creations, which I feel reflects the newfound confidence I have in myself as an artist.
