I work with autobiography material (snapshots and home movies) and historical archives. I graduated in Drama Studies (U.C.Dublin) and am a PhD student in art studies at the University of Coimbra.

My style has a contemporary/medieval/retro feel and is inspired by the natural environment, and flora and fauna. Celestial bodies are a big theme as well as green men. My iconic fish are made for the scrap glass left over from larger projects. I also repair stained glass windows.

Report this?Matt Hooper is a self-taught professional linocut printmaker, working from his studio in Leeds. He makes linocut prints following both the traditional Japanese Woodblock style and more contemporary linocut methods, a reflection of his passions for both subjects. After 30 years in a Leeds print factory, Matt left with the goal of making every piece of paper into something beautiful.
