    I am an artist with northern roots but based in Hackney. I completed a BTEC Foundation in Art & Design at Kendal College (2002), a Fine Art Certificate at Leeds University School of Fine Art and Cultural Studies (2004) and a BA in Interdisciplinary Art & Design at Leeds College of Art & Design.     Neurodivergent visual artist exploring embodied experience through drawing, painting and mixed media. My work draws on my background as a former elite gymnast and responds to movement, sensation and mental imagery emerging through EMDR therapy.     My work anchors me to reality, a lens of visual translation that enables me to attempt to understand human thought and behaviour at a deeper level. The unreality of day to day existence is relentless, a maze of whirring dualities and circus mirrors, through paint I tune in to the collective consciousness and become a translator for the seen but not heard.
