    Catherine has a first class degree in Photography from the University of Westminster. Disillusioned with Photoshop and filters, she began to work with the cyanotype photogram. An historic process, using iron salts, light and water, the cyanotype is an environmentally friendly printing method. Botanical specimens are collected from local spaces, seeds are returned: each print treads lightly.

    Through my work I want to explore the mythological representation of women and how stories have been influenced and reengineered by patriarchy. How women have been written out of folklore and how stories have been changed to fit in with this ideology.

    I am a printmaker and artist and I work from my attic studio in West Yorkshire. My prints are influenced by my love of being immersed in nature and my belief that everyone has a right to be wrapped in the natural world.     Victor Guerin is a Franco-British artist (b. 1993). Guerin graduated from the Royal College of Art, MA Sculpture (2024) and Arts et Métiers ParisTech Grande Ecole, MEng Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. Guerin was a finalist for the Hyundai Award for Excellence in Sustainability and Creative Practice (2024), and won the Averil Picot Art Award (2023).

    My background is as a photo-journalist, a still life advertising photographer and a writer. Despite these other interests, I've been in love with paintings all my life and I have always painted. In very late retirement, I have become a full-time studio painter. Like many of us, my influences are legion; but I am particularly affected by Nicolas de Stael and by Keith Vaughan.
